Michael Summers
Executive Officer since 2006.
Michael was appointed as the first Executive Officer of the FSAA in June 2006. He has been actively involved with the FSAA and its predecessor AAIA, since 1977, and has held the positions of Federal President and President NSW Division.
He was made a Life Member in 2000.
Michael commenced his career in Stock Broking (5 years) and then in Chartered Accounting (5 years). He joined and
remained with American Re-Insurance Co for 28 years, and during that time held the positions of Vice President Finance
and General Manger for Australia and New Zealand. He now heads up a Consulting Firm.
Michael holds a Bachelor degree in Economics (Syd) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
